The Lust List: 5 Sweaters and Dresses.

Spring In Portland I cold. Sweaters and dresses are key to looking put together for spring while staying warm. Here are a set of hand-knit sweaters and dresses I think would be paired lovely with them.

Paired with Ted Baker London Garden Print Sweetheart Dress.

I love the beulah cardigan, I think it is the perfect sweater for dresses, not too long not too short and just some very simple and sweet details up the fronts. The Twisted north 45 yarn is a local yarn shop exclusive. I think brown is a great color for a spring cardigan to balance out a lot of the bright floral dresses.

#2  Everyday Cardigan by Mel Clark in Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage- Colorway Citrus

I love cheery coral/pink and olive green combo. It is perfect for Portland's spring everything is kind of a dirty green color with little punches of color. This combo is like an ode to the lovely roses that will soon start bursting into bloom. I wish I could make the last two sweaters out of the yarn I suggested but at 12:50 a skein that makes each sweater $100 and $87.50 respectively. Just too pricey for me this spring but the yarn is oh oh so lovely if you can make anything with it I suggest you do! Also Jared Flood is just an amazing designer and editor every time his yarn line puts out a new look book I want to make almost everything!  I hope this list inspires you to incorporate hand knits into your wardrobe!
