Today has been a rather gray day. I've kept my nose tucked in side watching TV and embroidering more then anything else. I've also been waging a battle of stitch tension with Greta, my 1819 Singer with a bolt on motor. I think I am gonna have to realize that old motor may have given up the ghost. My desk is starting to feel a bit like spring with the addition of these lovely tulips.
My bike shipped today!!! Right after I got over the excitement, I realized that if I want my Meadowflower tote to be done in time for rides to the farmers market, I need to get my butt moving on it. SO Today I finally cut the fabric for the front and the back. Only to realize that I read the pattern wrong and now will have to get contrasting fabric for the lining.
That is ok I needed to go get leather lacing for the handles anyway. I made a little cell phone pocket for the tote to keep my iPhone scratch free.
Also if this one is easy I may make one like the photography wit a lovely liberty of london outside and maybe a navy gingham inside. I really do love this cross stitch alphabet, it's just lovely!
Seriously love the color combo… Maybe grey fabric with red accents for the lining!
