Wishing I could knit faster.

I am ever so excited about this issue of knitscene! you see the featured knitter this month Miss Catherine Shields was a member of my most favorite knitting circle ever in Santa Barbara. She also make some of the most amazing knitting patterns that have interesting constructions. I am extremely excited to get started on two of her hat patterns from this issue. also this issue makes me wish more than others that I was a crazy fast sweater knitter. SO many cute sweaters I want to knit!

  1. What a small world! I actually knew Catherine through mutual friends when I lived in San Francisco!

That grenadine tunic is gorgeous, but having once knit a top in stockinette stitch with size 2 needles, I can't imagine doing it again with a whole tunic 🙂
