One of the things I would like to get better at this year is being organized at home. I would love to make my studio a collection of cute and quirky things that inspire me! Besides getting my stuff in order I would like to get back on the Getting Thing Done bandwagon. I really want to hone in how to make that system work. I will be sharing more aboutD is great latter in month. For now let’s look at some practical and adorable things for my studio.
I think that the Ikea Expedit Shelving may be the best thing ever made for crafters, you can store fabric, yarn, all kinds of supplies in bins or carefully curated collections. I really would love to use one of these horizontally under the windows in my studio. This would give me an additional flat space to store my project boxes.
I would love to store my patterns in pocket folders in this magazine holder. However when I am working on a sewing project or a knitting project I would love to keep the fabric and zippers or yarns and needles together in lovely document boxes. Also I could use a place to store notes and doodles and little bits of inspiration this mountain cork board is perfect. It’s cute lets me hang things but it’s not so big that it will take over my desk area.
I bought this cute key holder for Collin and I, we’ve been using it for a few days now and it is great! I haven’t lost my keys yet! These cute cord holders would be so helpful to keep my iPhone headphones away from Abalard, that do has a 6th sense for where they are, he’s chewed far to many pairs. I just love this casa tissue holder, it’s just so cute. I think it would be a great addition to my office window ledge.
Finally I want a blog organizer, i have thought of keeping a blogging schedule for quite some time and i would like a book that i can write it down in. This one has such beautiful illustrations I am crossing my fingers they have it in stock when I make my way to the paper source this weekend. Is getting organized one of your goals this year? I’d love to hear your goals for 2013.
