Sunday was my 30th and golden birthday! Collin made sure the day was full of smiles and fun. I could not have asked for a better birthday.
We started the morning off with a long walk to Cup and Saucer in NE portland. ( My silly coat is covering up my beautiful Washi Dress I made for my birthday, it has dachshunds all over it!)
After one of my favorite breakfasts we stopped by this little vintage shop.
Where i found a beautiful velvet hat that was too small for my potato head.
Collin bought me this beautiful vintage bag, I cannot wait to use it. I have to do a little repair job to it but it going to be awesome to carry, it even holds my iPad mini!
Another thoughtful present that Collin bought me was a Fisher’s Space Pen. I adore mine, it is sliver and gold and oh so pretty. I have really enjoyed having a nice pen to jot down quick notes in my Field Note Oregon note book.
We stopped at Extracto Roasters for a latte treat! I am really kicking myself for not getting that book, next time I am at Extracto I am going to have to get it!
We jetted over to the west side where we stopped to pick up my big birthday present, a beautiful yellow industrial desk lamp from West Elm. We also stopped by the craziness that was anthropology to look at the sale dishes (they were an extra 30% off) while I didn’t find any cute dishes, we did find that cute little dachshund letter holder. Then we made a quick trip to Cupcake Jones for Red Velvet Cupcakes and Puppy Cupcakes for Macintosh and Abalard.
Later that evening Collin and I headed out to Le Bistro Montage. While we waited for our table we had a drink in the bar, La Merde. After that we walked over to Dig a Pony and had a few more drinks before heading home. It was a perfect way to say hello to a whole new exciting decade of my life.
